- Property Management Partner Program
In short: If you manage HOAs, condo associations, or community associations, insurance is one of the most time-consuming parts of your job that creates the least value for your boards. The Partner Program is not a referral arrangement and there is no revenue share. It is an operational service partnership: one point of contact, one process, one platform, with Pro Insurance Group earning standard commission from the carriers the same as on any other association we serve.
The 8 services included in the partner program
Built around the workflows that frustrate property management teams the most. Every partner gets all eight.
1. Dedicated PM account manager
A named person who handles your entire portfolio, with direct phone, direct email, and response within 4 business hours. For top-tier partners, Neal Fusco serves as the named account manager personally.
2. Expedited certificates of insurance
COI requests are turned around in 4 business hours during business hours, 24 hours otherwise. Most brokers take 2 to 5 business days. Partners consistently say this is what they value most.
3. Free annual coverage review
Once per year per community, we review coverage against the association's governing documents and current Illinois statute, and deliver a one-page report co-branded with your firm's logo.
4. Proactive renewal management
We maintain the master renewal calendar for every community and run a 90-day renewal review, so there are no last-minute scrambles and no surprise non-renewals.
5. Claims advocacy for you and your boards
When a community has a claim, we represent the community and coordinate directly with your team. Status updates, document collection, and adjuster relationships are all handled.
6. Education and training
Quarterly lunch-and-learn webinars for your team on COI handling, claim triage, coverage gaps, and statutory updates, with free CEU eligibility where applicable.
7. E&O placement at preferred rates
We place professional liability (errors and omissions) coverage for your management firm at preferred rates, handled by the same broker who knows your portfolio inside-out.
8. Co-branded board newsletter
We write a monthly "Insurance Insights for Boards" newsletter on master policies, D&O claims, coverage gaps, and statutory updates. Your branding goes on top and you send it to your boards.
How the partner program works
Two tiers. Most firms start in Tier 1, with no fees and no exclusivity required.
Tier 1: Preferred Broker Status
The entry tier. We become a recommended broker on the list your firm provides to new boards. In exchange, you provide:
- 30 days advance notice on community renewals so we can prepare alternatives where appropriate
- An annual list of communities under management for portfolio-level review
- The opportunity to quote each renewal at the board's request
All eight services are included. No fees, no exclusivity required.
Tier 2: Exclusive Partner
After 12+ months of successful Tier 1 partnership, qualifying firms recommend Pro Insurance Group as the primary broker to new boards and help transition existing communities at renewal where it benefits the board. Tier 2 partners also get:
- Quarterly business reviews between PM leadership and Pro Insurance Group leadership
- Priority claim escalation and dedicated leadership-level response on complex matters
- Expanded co-branded marketing and educational support
- Joint participation in PM industry events and CAI chapter activities
What our clients say
Frequently asked questions
Is there a fee or revenue share?
No. The partner program is built on operational value and service quality, not financial incentives. Pro Insurance Group earns its standard commission from the carriers on placed coverage, the same as on any other community association we serve. No money changes hands between Pro Insurance Group and the property management firm.
Do we have to give you all our communities at once?
No. The partner program starts with whatever volume makes sense for your firm. Most partners start by adding Pro Insurance Group to their recommended broker list and routing new community formations and at-renewal RFPs to us. Existing community relationships transition naturally over time, only when it benefits the board.
What if a board doesn't want to switch?
Then they don't switch. The partner program respects the autonomy of the boards your firm manages. We are a recommended option, not a mandate. Boards that are happy with their current broker stay where they are. We compete for new business and earn relationships on quality.
How fast can you onboard a property management firm?
Within 1 to 2 business days from the introductory call, your firm has a named account manager, direct contact information, an onboarding workspace in our system, and an initial portfolio review scheduled. Most PMs are operational with us within the first week.
Do you handle communities outside Illinois?
Yes. Pro Insurance Group is licensed in 40+ states. We work with property management firms whose portfolios cross state lines, and we structure the partner program to accommodate multi-state operations.
What types of communities does the partner program cover?
All forms of community association: condominiums, townhome and PUD HOAs, single-family HOAs, master-planned communities, mixed-use associations, and cooperatives. We also work with specialty community types like lake-front HOAs, gated communities, and senior living associations.
What if our firm already has a preferred broker?
Many do. The partner program is designed to work alongside existing relationships at first, not replace them. The fastest path is to add Pro Insurance Group as a secondary or specialty broker for the community types we excel at, such as mid-to-large condos, complex master-planned communities, and communities with elevated D&O exposure. Performance does the rest.
